I change my mood in a trance?

I tried this several times then I realized a week ago that I put in a trance. What Not me I was on my couch for about twenty minutes while listening to music and after about five minutes to start and let my mind wander. I am with very rare but sometimes brilliant ideas. When I'm done with a few songs, usually to open our eyes to see I've been laying down for about ten to twenty minutes. The strange is that it feels hours. But I definitely feel I'm in a trance. Any idea why it is a kind of self hypnosis or something? I also feel as if were in the midst of full consciousness and sleep. Only some middle area, where they sleep, but I can see very vivid images, and even scenes from my life, or simply contain.

This is called meditation. Few people can really come to this stage to consider yourself lucky.
